HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
It was definitely a pink and red morning!
I wore my pink FitFluential ViewSport tank, Reebok RealFlex kicks, and Polar HR monitor to bootcamp while sipping out of a pink Camelbak. However, a girl with a tank top that said LOVE may have beat me for most Valentine’s Day decked out-ness.
Today’s bootcamp was Tabata style, only we did 8 minutes of 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off. After rotating through 6 stations, we did 200 jumping jacks to finish out the class. Talk about calf burn!
It was a great last bootcamp. A new series starts in 2 weeks but there is a demo week in between. I’m not sure if I am going to sign up again because of the cost, but I’ll definitely do the demo classes since we are all still invited.
Breakfast was a big bowl of egg white whipped oats topped with chocolate sauce (toasted carob powder mixed with stevia and almond milk), heart sprinkles, and goji berries for Valentine’s Day color.
You guys may have seen the massive amount of truffles I made if you follow me on Instagram.
They are very simple Oreo truffles, which I’ve made before, but not in this amount! I’ve definitely become a pro at chocolate covering!
Basically, Joe is giving away truffles to all reservations at the restaurant today. He needed 100 bags with 4 truffles per bag, which is 400 truffles! I made half and another girl from the restaurant made the other half, since that’s A LOT of work.
After the process of actually making the truffles, I had to put them in these candy holders, bag them, and tie them.
It took me overall, between two days, a total of 6 hours.
The things we do for the ones we love!
I hope your Valentine’s Day is LOVEly.
