Well, Nemo came and went. Joe got home early from work last night so we ordered pizza and polished off a bottle of wine.
It was nice to have him home early on a Friday night, but I felt bad because I still fell asleep super early. I’m usually exhausted from the work week, so Friday’s are a really low key night for me.
We woke up around 7:30 and got in some quality Gus time. He loves chin rubs.
After procrastinating, it was time to get shoveling.
We actually didn’t get that much snow. It might seem like a lot to some of you who don’t live in the northeast, but 8 inches wasn’t really anything to talk about.
I took this as my workout for the day, since I was hungry when I came inside and knew that once I ate, I wasn’t going to hit the gym.
Joe even made us almond milk cappuccinos!
Last minute, my hair colorist texted me and said she had an opening. I was supposed to go Tuesday after work, but I’m usually there for 3 hours so I’d rather do it on the weekend. I headed into Hoboken to get my hair done and stopped by the restaurant afterwards to see Joe.
I really wanted my hair done before tomorrow, when I’ll be getting all gussied up at our overnight trip! Speaking of Gus….
He’s currently chillin’ on my printer. I have no words!
Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Have fun on your getaway with Joe. Love the pictures of Gus!
I can’t believe that’s how little snow the storm brought you! I’m so used to Canadian amounts of snow haha Here in Halifax, Nova Scotia where I live we got almost 90 cm of snow..about 35 inches!!! Shovelling was a bit of a mission today to say the least
That is absurd – I can’t believe what that storm brought!
Awww that cat is so cute!! I love cats
I just got him 2 months ago – I never really cared for cats, but now I am obsessed!
Sounds like a little Saturday (despite the snow). Glad you are enjoying your weekend love!
You’re lucky you only got 8 inches! We have over 2 feet in MA…crazy.
Your cat is so adorable!

Shoveling snow really IS a workout! I’m glad to hear that you weren’t buried too deep; the news made it sound like a crazy storm!
Pizza and wine is one of my favorite Friday night activities. Throw in a lazy Saturday morning, and my weekend is already beyond perfect.
