There’s something about Monday being over that feels sooo good!
Anymore I don’t even set my alarm to wake up for a workout on Monday. I know that it’s not happening. Instead, I pack clothes for after work.
On my lunch break yesterday, I went and got a manicure.
Excuse my red cuticles. My nails have been an absolute mess lately. I found a place near my work that does a great job and I was in and out in 30 minutes.
I pounded through a few more hours of work and happily changed into my workout clothes around 5:45. I followed a shortened version of my workout from last week.
Not bad for a Monday.
Since it takes me about 35 minutes to get home, I always bring a snack to eat immediately after working out. By the time I shower and have dinner, I miss the important window of time to refuel. I brought a new Think Thin product that I found at Whole Foods this weekend.
I tried the dark chocolate yesterday and it is absolutely delicious. It seriously tasted like a mounds candy bar. YUM!
As soon as I got home, I through a sweet potato in the oven. I jumped in the shower and caught up on some blog work while it was cooking. Of course, I had my lap partner to help.
Even though I ate deconstructed stuffed piggies (recipe coming this week!) for lunch, it was so good that I couldn’t resist adding some to my dinner!
Chobani is pretty much a staple anytime I make a sweet potato, so that went in the mix too.

I’m going rock climbing after work today and I’m super excited about it. I’ll report back on how much it messes up my manicure (ha!).
- Have you ever tried rock climbing? I used to belong to a gym for a year in high school and loved it.

I did indoor climbing once or twice, but never the “real” thing. Given the chance, I wouldn’t turn it down, but it’s just not something I would ever seek out. Glad Monday is over too! Happy Tuesday!
The summer camp I went to when I was a kid had rock climbing, and I loved it. I went again a few years ago – it’s really fun! A crazy upper body workout though, I was definitely sore afterwards!
I pretty much use chobani for everything now too. I used it as mayonnaise to make my tuna fish for lunch yesterday!
Loving the nails! Also, want to try that drink chia. I think I’ll be having a sweet tater for dinner tonight
can’t wait to hear about rock climbing – i used to love rock walls, but its been years since ive done it!
I’ve tried rock climbing and I love it! It’s so tough, but it’s a lot of fun, and I’ve always loved sore muscles so I also relish that feeling the next day. But watch out for that poor manicure!!
LOVE sweet potatoes! I had one for dinner tonight topped with peanut butter & chobani. SO good!
That is some major calorie burn! I LOVE thinkthin products but haven’t tried those new ones yet. I don’t think I’ve seen them locally but I’ll check the health food store next time!
Love your nails! I got that exact color last time I went, but this time I just did regular French, which is my favorite.
