I was ravenous today! I did Naomi’s bust through your cardio craziness workout this morning. I purposely didn’t check my calories until I was completely done.
Awesome! For only an hour, that’s some pretty serious calorie burn.
I came home and made a loaded green smoothie.
While I was getting ready for work, Gus thought he’d take a quick shower.
He’s so silly. He has been getting into everything lately!
I got to work and almost immediately snacked on almonds, then an apple, then some hummus and rice cakes. Seriously, I was so hungry. I haven’t felt that way in a while. Obviously my body needed to be replenished from this morning’s workout, so I listened.
After eating a real lunch (out with some co-workers), I snacked yet again. I had this sample protein wafer bar that I got last timed I ordered from Netrition. The protein stats aren’t bad but it’s not all natural; there was some weird names on the ingredient list, but I tried to just ignore that in my extreme hunger.
It tasted like…
cardboard well, you could definitely tell it’s made with whey protein.
It wasn’t bad. I’ve had worse, but I’d much prefer my ThinkThin peanut butter bars to this. The stats are much better; more protein, less fake stuff.
On my drive home from work, my stomach was growling. SERIOUSLY? I came home and started munching on hummus and crackers while cooking dinner.
Leftover chicken, broccoli, and a sweet potato with Chobani.
And….I’m pretty sure that’s not it. Yeah, I’m probably headed to the peanut butter after I press publish.
