It’s amazing what a little bit of adrenaline can make you do. It’s also amazing what a little bit of endorphins can do! My story starts with my iPad.
I am trying to stay positive despite some unfortunate happenings this week. That said, I think a lot of you know the feeling after you drop some sort of electronic device on the floor and you squirm as you pick it up, praying it’s not smashed to pieces.
Today, my iPad was not so lucky. I was grabbing papers out of my bag at work to audition for a ViPR group fitness class and my iPad came flying out with them and landed flat on the floor. This isn’t even the worst corner, I would have definitely cut myself on the opposite corner if I had tried to continue using it. Wasn’t it just a few months ago that I smashed my iPhone on the ground?
Anyway, to the apple I store I went to
spend waste money to replace it, being that I use it for work and I wasn’t about to get shards of glass in my fingertips.
Have you heard enough? Thought so. I was so upset and hadn’t worked out yet today so when I got home, my adrenaline was still rushing which led me to this.
I just ran. I didn’t look at my Garmin once. I knew I was at a slow pace but I didn’t care. I needed to just zone out and produce some endorphins.
I ran through the park, which I haven’t done in a while. I was itching to go all week and I couldn’t have picked a better time: sunset.
It was definitely a little cold, like when the inside of your ears hurt while running cold. Anyone else know that feeling? But it was still nice to get some fresh air and endorphins. I felt much much better after that run!
When I got home, I checked the mail because I have been waiting for some packages.
One of them came. More on these in another post, but thank you for the samples Drink Chia!
After that, I made myself the most random dinner of whatever was left in the fridge.
I heated up leftover salmon and asparagus from Joe’s parents, stuffed peppers, and preserved eggplants.
I had a few Food Should Taste Good sweet potato chips on the side.
Now I need a little something sweet – so I’m going to do that! Goodnight!
