A while ago, Allison from Blender Bottle contacted me to inform me about he new SportMixer bottle, which functions as both a water bottle and a blender for shakes. I do own one traditional Blender Bottle, but I definitely took up her offer to try out the new SportMixer.!
It comes in a variety of bright colors. Of course I like the pink and purple, but the orange is bright and fun, and a stray from my normal choice of colors!
As with all BlenderBottles, the SportMixer comes with the BlenderBall, which is a surgical-grade stainless steel mixing ball. It’s awesome for shaking up drinks that contain thicker ingredients like peanut butter or yogurt.
The new SportMixer comes in the traditional 28 oz. size, as well as the 20 oz. mini size. What I love about BlenderBottle is that everything is dishwasher safe. Even though my dishwasher was broken for a while, I am now obsessed with throwing every last thing in there because I am sick of washing dishes!
Another awesome feature is that the bottles are BPA and Phthalate free, which means no harmful toxins!
Lastly, the SportMixer top has a convenient sport loop which makes it easier for carrying. All of my gym water bottles have something similar, so it’s great that they added this feature as well.
The SportMixer is super versatile. I’ll fill it up with water and take it to the gym with me, but then I can also bring a packet of protein powder and shake it up with the BlenderBall for a post workout shake!
