4 Miles + Last Minute Packing

by Jillian on July 7, 2012 · 6 comments

I can’t wait to just be in Portland already! All this packing and last minute stuff has me stressed, as usual. I am working tonight until close, so that means I’ll probably get home at midnight, finish packing, sleep for 2 hours, and then leave for our flight which is at 7AM!

I got in the 4 miles that was on my schedule for this morning, as well as a fast paced upper body workout.

Obviously I was sprinting at the end.

Now I am trying to figure out a way to fit everything in one suitcase that we can check and then each of us can bring a carry on. It’ will save us $50, being that each way is $25 to check a bag x 2 people.

Joe has a brand new suitcase that he got 1.5 years ago and the tags are still on it. What does that tell you?

Anyway, he’s being stubborn and wants to bring his new suitcase, so this should be fun. I am determined to make it work!

Alright, now for some lunch, last minute errands, and work. I am soooo excited and antsy I can’t even concentrate! I didn’t set up any posts for the time that I am away, so I’ll see you from Portland – or maybe not!

  • Any suggestions for Portland Oregon? So far, we’re doing a winery tour north of the city and probably checking out the Rogue Brew Pub.

Ahh, I’m from Portland! Check out Pok Pok! And their waiting room bar across the street, the Whiskey Soda Lounge. Voodoo doughnut shop is always a fun time, they are very creative with the doughnut name/shapes. 23rd street is always a hoppin. Stumptown for coffee! Portland’s Saturday Market is unreal! Along with the farmer’s markets. Have fun! I miss it!
