Good afternoon! I almost said morning because I haven’t eaten lunch yet and didn’t realize was time it was!
I got out of bed around 7:30 and headed straight to the kitchen. Joe was still sleeping, so I made some coffee and studied for about an hour before we headed to the gym.
I completed a full upper body workout including chest, back, shoulders, triceps, and biceps. I was not in the mood for any on particular cardio machine so I hopped around like a total weirdo.
- 5 minutes on the row machine
- 5 minutes HIIT on the elliptical
- 5 minutes HIIT on the stairmaster
- 5 minutes HIIT the bike
- 5 minutes HIIT on the elliptical
- 10 minutes walking on the treadmill to cool down
I stretched right on the treadmill while I was waiting for Joe. Standing pigeon pose? I always do this for some reason after running on the treadmill. Anyway, obviously I love this workout outfit because I’m pretty sure last time I posted a picture at the gym, I was wearing the same thing. I swear it’s clean!
Streeeetttchhh! I love these Reebok RealFlex Transition shoes I got at fitblognyc by the way! They’re so comfortable for cross training.
Breakfast
Last night I used the last Chobani from my stash to make overnight oats. The reason being because I had an almost empty jar of peanut butter. I combined one jar of plain 0% Chobani, 1/2 cups oats, 1 T chia seeds, cinnamon, stevia, a dash of sea salt, and a splash of almond milk to get it all moving.
This morning I simply added some almond milk to soften it up and topped it with banana and blackberries.
It was good, but for some reason I was craving a green smoothie the whole time so I wasn’t fully satisfied. I guess I know what’s for lunch!
Speaking of Chobani, you guys are in for a surprise tomorrow!
I’m off to get ready for work. Later!

You’ve got some talent holding that pose and snapping a pic at the same time, girl!
Love your shoes!
I love standing pigeon. I swear it’s the best stretch for a runner with tight hips.
I love my Reebok’s. I absolutely love the yellow pink combo on yours. Going to try your over night oats in my next almost empty peanut butter jar!
I stretch like that too. Feels so good on the booty!
That’s how I do cardio a lot, lol. I rarely have the patience to stay in one place for 30 minutes. Except for the stairmaster, I don’t get bored on that because it’s so hard
Haha! You rock, love the standing pigeon pose action
I do love the pigeon pose, it is the best , hurts so good!
Hope all is well love! <3
HAha, love how you rocked the pigeon pose right on the machine. Bad ass!
Haha, I love how you busted out the pose on the treadmill. You’re clearly too cool
I still need to try out overnight oats with yogurt again, I’ve been all about them with egg whites lately.
