A few weeks ago, Benjamin from Gnu bars reached out to me regarding some new flavor additions to the high fiber Gnu bar line.
As a snack bar nut, I have tried a few Gnu bars in the past. When he mentioned the new flavors, I happily agreed to trying them. I wasn’t expecting a 16 pack of assorted flavors, so when I opened the box I was surprised. That was so generous of Gnu foods & I am taking my time to try every flavor (or I just really don’t want the box to end because they’re so yummy!).
The flavors from the original line are banana walnut, chocolate brownie, cinnamon raison, espresso chip, orange cranberry, and peanut butter.
The new “dessert” flavor offerings sounded really appealing, though.
Blondie, blueberry cobbler, and carrot cake were all really delicious, but the carrot cake stood out in that it actually tasted like carrot cake!
The stats on these bars are what really grabbed me. Gnu Foods Flavor & Fiber bars have a whopping 12 grams of fiber per 45 gram baked bar. They range from 130-140 calories with a relatively small ingredient list.
Above are the stats for the Blondie bars.
I love that they contain ingredients like psyllium and flax to provide the fiber. You can see the flax seeds in the bar!
The bars contain no high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils which is super important today. They are also vegan, dairy, whey, and soy free! The box also gives a little more information about the benefits of fiber.
Gnu foods is offering a special on their website. You can choose a sampler pack of 5 bars of your choice for $7.95 plus free shipping. How awesome is that? You can keep updated by following them on their Facebook page.
Here’s the best part, though. Gnu Foods wants to give one of you guys a 16 pack of bars!
All you have to do is comment on this post WHY you think you should win a 16 pack of Gnu bars!
