The first time I saw Simply Bars was on Janetha’s blog, and then we were lucky enough to try them at Blend. I’m always on the prowl for new bars but it’s hard to find protein bars. There are a lot of fiber, fat (nuts & seeds), and even sugar filled bars available, but not a whole lot of protein bars that have a somewhat small ingredient list and ideal stats.
Simply Bars hit the spot for me in the protein bar department. I tried a few of the flavors at Blend, but my favorite is the Lemon Coconut.
Each bar contains 16g protein, 2-4g fat, under 3g sugar, 4g of fiber, and 160 calories or less. They are made with non GMO soy crisps which are the main protein source, and organic brown rice syrup as the sweetener. They are vegan and gluten-free diet friendly, too! You can read all of the stats for the bars here.

The flavors that they offer are yummy, too!
- lemon coconut
- peanut butter & chocolate
- cocoa & raspberry
- cocoa & coffee
- caramel & peanut
- cinnamon & pecan
The texture is a bit crunchy but not too hard to chew. For having 16g of protein, I feel like the taste is pretty good! I’ve had a lot of protein bars that taste like chalk, or dirt, or… you get the picture. I really enjoy the flavor of these, especially lemon coconut, as I already mentioned!
The Simply Bar people are super awesome and sent me a case of mixed flavors!
They also want to offer one of you the chance to try out one of their bars!
