I’m glad that a lot of you agree with me on the CrossFit pricing! I looked into it and you can pay less per month if you pay it all up front, but honestly, I also can’t give up $1,600 for 1 year of something that I don’t know if I am going to stick with yet.
This morning started off with a shot of Fitmixer amino. Literally, I mixed a scoop with a tiny amount of water and just shot it back. Quick and easy. Otherwise, I have to use the bathroom in the middle of my workout from drinking too much water. I drink a ton during my workout, so I try to minimize the amount before so I can hold off on bathroom breaks.
Anyway, I did my own CrossFit style workout this morning. Naomi posted a great cardio workout yesterday. It’s a good base and you can switch up any of the cardio machines or exercises to anything you want. I copied a screen shot from her post below. She is a certified personal trainer and has a ton of awesome workouts, go check them out!
The only change I made was the bench step overs in the last set of exercises. I swapped them out for box jumps.
And guess what? I dragged Joe along with me for the workout! We finished the stepmill 100 calories in under 10 minutes.
The jump squats, burpees, and pushups really got our heart rate up. I finished the one mile run in about 8:20 and Joe a little less, of course! The hardest part though, were the wall sits in the last set of exercises.

Afterwards, Joe asked “okay, so what are we doing tomorrow?”. Haha!
Breakfast was a typical green smoothie bowl with granola and berries.
And now I’m off to get ready for work.
