Well, I asked for me time and I got it. Immediately after publishing that post on Monday night, I had a sudden burst of nausea and pretty much curled up in bed wanting to just die. Until, of course, I had no choice but to go into the bathroom and projectile vomit for three hours.
Sorry for the mental picture. By about midnight, there was nothing left in my body but obviously it didn’t know that because it continued until about 2am.
Needless to say, the only workout I got in was my abs. Boy did they hurt after dry heaving for 30 minutes. And my eats? Well that didn’t happen until about 2pm the next day. Breakfast was one piece of dry toast, doesn’t that sound delicious?
I watched TV for 12 hours straight, in bed. I can’t remember the last time I did that.
Later I felt like I should get something in my system, even though I had no appetite at all. I bought Mrs. T’s sweet potato whole grain pierogies after seeing them on Courtney’s post the other day. I used to eat Mrs. T’s pierogies every other day as a kid! I boil them, fry them in a pan with butter, and serve them with ketchup. To die for.
My stomach wasn’t really sure how it felt about these, but eventually they digested. I later forced a grilled cheese sandwich down, knowing that I am only going to get better with nutrients.
I am still not feeling up to par today, but I have work at 4pm and can’t call out. Tomorrow will be filled with packing for Blend and working late before my flight takes off early Friday morning. I don’t intend to blog at Blend, but rather enjoy the time we have there. Therefore, it’s possible that I will be on a blog hiatus for a few days, but I promise I’ll be back as soon as possible!
Going to get ready for work. Can I please just go back to bed?
