Another productive day, friends! It took a little white to get into it, but once I did, I busted out a bunch of studying as well as some work that needed to be done. I did take a quick break for lunch and an errand I needed to run.
I heated up some leftover “cheesy” brown rice and white beans from yesterday. Only today, I added in tomatoes and stirred the sautéed spinach in it. I also added earth balance and almond milk to cream it up, and some truffle salt, just because I’m obsessed with it. Yes, obsessed. I don’t use that term lightly. Okay, sometimes I do, we all do!
I quickly ran to Walgreens to pick up some photos I ordered for be printed online. I chose a few of my favorite photos of Joe and I. I have lived with him for over a year and have yet to put any photos of us in frames. Lame, right? Well, I picked up some frames on super sale at TJMaxx yesterday and wanted to fill them. After spending 15 minutes scraping the stickers off the glass (why do they do that?), I switched out the funny prop photos for my own.
The first one went in the living room. This picture is from New Years Eve last year (2010-2011) at Joe’s restaurant. Can you see the champagne glass in my hand?
Then in the dining room, I chose a picture of us from my friend’s wedding this summer.
Lastly, I put a photo from Aruba (summer 2010) on our bedroom dresser.
That is some motivation for me when I am thinking about whether I should be getting my gym clothes out of the drawer or not! Right?
Well, I have a sweet potato baking in the oven and a few flash cards to finish up for this chapter, so I’ll catch ya later!
- Do you have a ton of photos of you, family, friends, etc. around your house/apartment? Or do you prefer just basic decorations?
