Long Time, No Smoothie Bowl

Wow! You guys haven’t seen one of these in a while!

A smoothie bowl! With multiple unnecessary toppings, as usual. Smoothie bowls are the easiest and quickest option on a night that I get home from work at 8:00. I want food, fast.

Whipped cream, sprinkles, and cacao nibs on top of a chocolate protein smoothie.

Peanut butter, of course, and Erewhon gluten free brown rice cereal.

But anyway, let’s back up to this morning.

Workout

So, I did Jamie Eason‘s week one, day one workout last week and never continued because of the crazy busy week. This morning I decided to start over. I did day two, but I plan to complete day 1, 3, and 4 for the remainder of the week.

Today looked like this:

  • wide grip front  lat pull down
  • one arm bent over db row
  • seated cable row
  • underhand cable grips pull down
  • db alternate bicep curl
  • one arm db preacher curl
  • standing bicep cable curl

I used way heavier weight than I normally do since her plan called for 3 sets of 12 with 60 seconds of rest in between. I can already tell I am going to feel it in my back and biceps tomorrow! I finished up with 30 minutes on the elliptical.

I am so excited for Thanksgiving! I have a half day of work tomorrow and then I am driving home to Pennsylvania to my mom’s house until Sunday morning. I’m exhausted from a long and unexpected day at work, or else I would be packing tonight, so I plan on getting my bag together quickly after work tomorrow. I always feel like I have a million things to do when I go home! I have a lot of errands to run and things I want to get done, but I also intend to do a lot of relaxing. I need it!

yay for live fit! i am on week 7–after a few setbacks–and am sore, like, every day.

oh my gosh! i know! I am really sore already. I did another one this morning and I am feeling it already. Love it!
