Your Time Saving Tips

I held out on posting until this afternoon for a few reasons.

  • I snoozed. I skipped my ab workout and ran a quick 4 miles.
  • I had a doctor’s appointment before work. All’s good in woman-land, if you ladies know what I mean.
  • My breakfast was devoured in about 3 seconds because of my early appointment, which didn’t leave much time for a photo shoot.
  • I worked on an article I am doing on the side during lunch. Which by the way consisted of leftover Near East quinoa and brown rice blend from the other night, paired with some balsamic grilled chicken and zucchini.

Yeah, that’s right. I brought that to work for lunch. This got me thinking about how I maintain a healthy lifestyle, even with long hours and a nightmare commute.

So now, my friends, is where I will ask you for a favor as I sip on my mango Mix 1 protein shake from my HLS swag bag. It’s pretty darn good, in case you were wondering.

I cut veggies for lunches for the week all at once ahead of time. I also try to get in lots of incidental exercise so I can spend less time on formal workouts.

I don’t allow myself to hit the snooze button more than once. Otherwise I can continue hitting it for an hour (no joke) and waste a ton of my morning.

lol.. I am definitely guilty of snoozing for an hour!

I had to learn the hard way and it has meant avoid multitasking. Get things done one at a time is faster than doing 3 things at the same time.

I’m a snooze person so I set it ahead with the buffer time to snooze and still make it to work, etc, on time.
