This morning, while in the middle of my interval workout, my treadmill came to a hault. Nooooo! I hate that! I am a numbers freak and I like when things are even, so it totally screws me up. And the worst part is that I’m pretty sure my elbow just tapped the “stop” button accidentally. Shouldn’t those things have annoying messages like our computers?
“Are you sure you want to delete that?”
“Are you sure you want to stop dead in the middle of a 14 incline, 6.3 speed?”
While waiting for the incline to go down in order to start over, I contemplated just moving on to another machine. I was so mad! Instead, I just busted out the last 15 minutes at 7.5. I showed that treadmill!
When that happened to Joe one time, he punched the treadmill. I laughed. Now I know it’s not so funny.
Breakfast cheered me up. My smoothie was extra ice-creamy today. Super thick and green!
I guess it was just the right ratio of ingredients. I got lucky. There was no measuring involved, though, which means it’s unlikely it will come out like that again any time soon. But, just for future reference it included ice, almond milk, frozen banana, natural SunWarrior, chocolate PB2, spinach, chia seeds, and xanath gum.
It was also preceded by my latest obsession.
Sunbutter Adora Sprinkle Massacre
Dip a spoon in sunflower seed butter, dip it in sprinkles, top it with a dark
chocolate Adora disk, and shovel it in your mouth. The sweet sunflower butter and bitter dark chocolate are a perfect combo.
